MUMBAI, APRIL 11:
Spot rubber finished lower on Tuesday. The market fell on buyer resistance following the sharp declines in global markets. RSS 4 weakened to ₹146 (₹147.50) a kg according to traders. The grade moved down to ₹146.50 (₹147) and ₹143.50 (₹144) respectively according to the Rubber Board and the dealers. The April contracts slid to Rs. 142.25 (142.29), May to Rs. 149.15 (149.80) and June to Rs. 152.45 (152.75)per kg on National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE). RSS 3 (spot) dropped to ₹147.28 (₹148.76) at Bangkok. April futures surrendered to ₹159.03 (₹169.78) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 146 (147.50); RSS-5: 141 (143); Ungraded: 128 (130); ISNR 20: 128 (129)and Latex (60% drc): 93.50 (93.50).
