Spot rubber continued to rule weak on Monday. RSS 4 dropped further to ₹132 (133) a kg according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade slid to ₹129 (130) according to dealers. The trend was mixed as most counters remained unchanged amidst dull volumes. May futures closed at ₹127.80 (127.85), June at ₹131.71 (132.08), July at ₹134 (134.34) and August at ₹136 (135.68) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
RSS 3 (spot) dropped to ₹137.90 (138.29) at Bangkok. May futures surrendered to ₹147.96 (154.45) a kg on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 132 (133); RSS-5: 129 (129); Ungraded: 120 (120); ISNR 20: 120 (120) and Latex (60% drc): 95 (95).
