Spot rubber lost ground on Thursday. The market fell sharply on buyer resistance amid moderate selling from certain dealers and growers. RSS 4 declined to ₹127 (₹130) per kg, according to traders. The grade weakened to ₹128 (₹129) and ₹125 (₹126.50), respectively. RSS 3 (spot) slid to ₹141.26 (₹142.68) a kg in Bangkok. May futures weakened to ¥ 305.2 (₹179.26) from ¥309.5 (¥181.83) per kg on TOCOM. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 127 (130); RSS-5: 124 (127); ISNR 20: 118 (119.50); Latex (60% drc): 92 (93.50).
