Official suggests adoption of Araku coffee cultivation model
Special Commissioner of Tribal Welfare M. Padma issued directions to take up rubber plantation in Rampachodavaram Agency on the lines of Araku coffee cultivation.
She visited Kutravada and Ventukuru villages in the mandal on Friday and inspected 30 cents of rubber plantations in Sarla Mangireddy field. She suggested growing internal crops during the first two years of rubber plantation to get some income.
