Hong Kong: Hong Kong stocks ended marginally higher on Tuesday following another record lead from Wall Street but gains were tempered by profit-taking after rising in the three previous days.
The Hang Seng Index inched up 4.69 points, to 28,697.49.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.19 percent, or 6.43 points, to 3,372.04 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, added 0.11 percent, or 2.11 points, to 2,008.06.
