BEIJING (Reuters) – China will achieve its goal of stability and improvement for foreign trade this year, the commerce ministry said on Monday, and its foreign trade sector faces new opportunities and challenges in 2018.
China’s foreign trade has recovered this year after several years of contraction, though the government has not set a numerical target for growth in foreign trade the past two years.
Growth in foreign trade growth may down but remain at a high level in the fourth quarter, a ministry report said.
