DAKAR: Cocoa arrivals at ports in top grower Ivory Coast had reached around 224,000 tonnes by Nov. 5 since the start of the season on Oct. 1, exporters estimated on Monday, down from 247,000 tonnes in the same period of the previous season.
Exporters estimated that around 31,000 tonnes of beans were delivered to the port of Abidjan and another 25,000 tonnes to San Pedro for a total of 56,000 tonnes delivered between Oct. 30 and Nov. 5. That compares with 41,000 tonnes during the same period of last season.
