DUBAI: The lowest offer at Egypt’s GASC international wheat purchase tender was $195.30 per tonne, free-on-board (FOB), for 55,000 tonnes of Russian wheat, traders said on Wednesday.
GASC is seeking wheat for Dec. 15-30 shipment.
The results are expected on Wednesday.
The offers were all for Russian wheat, except for three offers for Romanian wheat.
Traders said the following offers were made in dollars per tonne, on an FOB basis:
ADM: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $196.50 and 55,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $195.30 and 60,000 tonnes of Romanian wheat at $204.90
Grant Logistics: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $196.90
Alegrow: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $199.20
GTCS: 2 cargoes each 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $199.97 and 55,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $198.99
Daewoo: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $197.75 and 55,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $197.30
Union: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $196.50 and 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $196.96
CHS: 60,000 tonnes of Romanian wheat at $204
Cofco: 60,000 tonnes of Romanian wheat at $205.48
The lowest cost and freight offers (C&F) in dollars per tonne were as follows:
ADM: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $196.50 FOB and $13.50 freight equating to $210 C&F
Union: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $196.50 FOB and $13.50 freight equating to $210 C&F
Grant Logistics: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $196.90 FOB and $14.48 freight equating to $211.38 C&F
Union: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $196.96 FOB and$14.48 freight equating to $211.44 C&F
ADM: 55,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $195.30 FOB and $16.68 freight equating to $211.98 C&F.
