Spot rubber made all round gains on Wednesday on short supplies following heavy rains all over the plantation areas. RSS-4 improved to ₹126.50 (126) a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade firmed up to ₹123.50 (123) as reported by the dealers. November futures closed at ₹127 (126.31), December at ₹126.34 (125.65), January at ₹127.18 (127.04) and February at ₹128 (129)on the NMCE. RSS-3 (spot) weakened to ₹104.92 (105.39) at Bangkok. November futures declined to ₹109.36 (110.97) on the TOCOM. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 126.50 (126); RSS-5: 123.50 (123); ISNR 20: 107 (106.50) and Latex (60% drc): 82 (82).
