PARIS: Moroccan grains agency ONICL awarded 30,000 tonnes of US soft wheat imports in a tender held as part of an annual preferential-tariff quota, ONICL said in a statement on its website.
The volume of soft wheat was the same as that sought by ONICL in the tender, which closed on Friday.
The wheat should arrive in Morocco by Dec. 31 at the latest.
ONICL’s statement did not show any award for US durum wheat, of which it had sought 327,273 tonnes in the same tender.
