BAGHDAD: Iraq’s Trade Ministry is seeking 50,000 tonnes of wheat in an international tender, it said on Sunday.
The deadline for offers is Nov. 26 and offers must remain valid until Nov. 30, the ministry said.
Iraq is looking to buy wheat of U.S., Australian or Canadian origin.
A previous tender announced on Nov. 1 seeking the same amount of wheat with a Nov. 5 deadline seems to have been withdrawn, Baghdad-based sources said. nL8N1N74C1
