PARIS: The European Union awarded this week 34,704 tonnes of wheat imports under its tariff-rate quotas, official data showed on Thursday.
This included 24,370 tonnes of wheat under a reduced-tariff quota open to all origins except the United States, 248 tonnes under a reduced-tariff quota open to all origins, and 10,086 tonnes under a tariff-free quota for Canadian wheat, the data showed.
