Exxon’s Joilet, Illinois refinery production reduced

HOUSTON: Production at ExxonMobil Corp’s 238,600 bpd Joilet, Illinois, refinery has been reduced since a malfunction last week, trade sources said.

The refinery’s 230,000 bpd crude distillation unit malfunctioned on Dec. 13 and is expected to remain operating at a reduced level through much of January, the sources said.
