DUBAI: Egypt’s state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC), said on Wednesday it bought 180,000 tonnes of Russian wheat in a tender.
GASC did not give further details about the purchase.

Traders gave the following breakdown of the purchase:
60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat from GTCS at $192.35 a tonne free-on-board (FOB) and $14.70 a tonne freight equating to $207.05 a tonne cost and freight (C&F)
60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat from GTCS at $192.80 a tonne FOB and $14.70 a tonne freight equating to $207.50 a tonne C&F
60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat from Daewoo at $194.90 a tonne FOB And $14.70 a tonne freight equating to $209.60 a tonne C&F
