SAO PAULO: Helped by good weather, Brazilian soy farmers are expected to harvest 110.19 million tonnes of the oilseed in the 2017/18 cycle, second only to last season, according to a Reuters poll of 11 forecasters on Friday.
Local farmers harvested 114 million tonnes of the oilseed last season. In the previous Reuters poll in November, the average of forecasts indicated production would be 109.43 million tonnes during the current season.
