KOTTAYAM, FEB. 5:
The Rubber Board has invited applications for distribution of green-budded stumps of rubber clones RRII 105, 414, 417, 422 and 430.
The materials will be available on a limited scale from the Board’s nurseries at Karikkattoor, Kadackamon, Kanhikkulam, Manjeri, Ulickal and Alakoded during February-March. The cost per stump is Rs 20.
Those interested in getting them should apply in prescribed form at any of the Regional Offices of the Board in Kerala, during the period from February 4 to 15.
Root trainer rubber plants are also being readied for distribution.
