MOSCOW: Russia produced 227.89 tonnes of gold in the first nine months of 2017, up from 214.15 tonnes in the same period in 2016, the finance ministry said on Monday.
Production for the period included 188.38 tonnes of mined gold compared with 176.49 tonnes a year ago, the ministry said in a monthly report.
Silver production totalled 788.14 tonnes in the January-September period, down from 800.31 tonnes in the same period of 2016, the ministry said.
