LONDON: Britain will sell 2.75 billion pounds of a 2048 index-linked gilt after attracting orders worth more than 16 billion pounds at a sale via syndication, one of the bookrunners on the deal said on Tuesday.
The bond, which has a coupon of 0.125 percent, was priced 0.8 basis points above the 0.75 percent 2047 linker .
BofA Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan, Lloyds Bank and Santander acted jointly as bookrunners.
