KATOWICE: Poland’s coal output fell to 65.5 million tonnes last year from 70.4 million tonnes a year earlier, a presentation published by the Industrial Development Agency (ARP) showed on Monday.
Due to the lack of coal on domestic market, coal imports increased to 13.4 million tonnes in 2017, from 8.3 million a year earlier.
Poland exported 6.26 million tonnes of coal last year.
