TOKYO (Reuters) – Bank of Japan deputy governor nominee Masayoshi Amamiya said on Wednesday that the central bank has ample tools to engineer a smooth exit from its monetary stimulus when the appropriate time comes.
Amamiya told a confirmation hearing in parliament’s upper house that how and in what combination the BOJ will use its policy tools will depend on economic and price conditions at the time.
