TOKYO (Reuters) – Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso is considering skipping a Group of 20 finance leaders’ meeting to be held in Buenos Aires next week, Kyodo news agency reported on Monday.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his close ally, Aso, have faced growing pressure over a suspected cover-up of a cronyism scandal that has dogged the premier for more than a year.
