TOKYO, March 5, Rubber Trade Association of Japan data released Tuesday showed Japan’s natural rubber imports in January compared to the same period last year, an increase of 3.3% to 60,321 tons.
January import growth of 38% from the previous month.
Rubber Trade Association did not provide a reason for the increase in imports, but imports increased at the same time, domestic stocks was also due to re-stocking increased.
Japan is one of the largest importer of natural rubber.
