Hong Kong: Hong Kong stocks rose again on Thursday, with energy firms extending the previous day’s gains on another jump in oil prices.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.40 percent, or 122.52 points, to 31,020.23.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gave up 0.15 percent, or 4.80 points, to 3,203.28, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, lost 0.13 percent, or 2.42 points, to 1,848.55.
