HAMBURG: Germany’s association of farm cooperatives on Tuesday forecast that Germany’s 2018 wheat crop will fall 0.8 percent on year to 24.29 million tonnes.
The cooperatives forecast Germany’s 2018 winter rapeseed crop will increase 8.3 percent on year to 4.62 million tonnes.
This is the second harvest forecast for 2018 from the cooperatives.
In its first harvest forecast on March 15, the association had forecast a 2018 wheat harvest of 24.21 million tonnes and a winter rapeseed crop of 4.67 million tonnes.
