CHICAGO: Soymeal cash basis offers were unchanged at US truck, rail and barge markets on Wednesday amid relatively routine demand and sufficient supplies, dealers said.
Processor downtime for maintenance this month was likely to limit available supplies in the coming weeks but a record-large US soy crush for the months of March and February left ample soymeal stocks for now.
Chicago Board of Trade May soymeal futures were down $4.70 at $376.50 per ton, lowest since April 6, at 11:01 a.m. CDT (1601 GMT).
