SINGAPORE: Brent crude’s premium to Dubai quotes rose to $4.30/bbl, the widest since January 2016, on the strength in the European marker, Reuters data showed on Thursday.
A wide spread spurs Asian buyers’ demand for Middle East and Russian crude priced off Dubai, while dampening consumption of Brent-linked grades from the Atlantic Basin.
