HAMBURG: South Korea’s Feed Leaders Committee (FLC) rejected all offers and made no purchase in an international tender for about 69,000 tonnes of corn to be sourced from optional origins which closed on Wednesday, European traders said.
Lowest offer was said to be $220.97 a tonne c&f plus an additional surcharge of $1.00 a tonne for additional port unloading.
The corn was sought in one consignment for arrival in South Korea around Sept. 15. Shipment was sought between Aug. 11 to Aug. 31 if sourced from the US Pacific North West coast, between July 22 to Aug. 11 if from the US Gulf/Black Sea region, between July 17 to Aug. 6 from South America and between July 27 to Aug. 16 from South Africa.
