HAMBURG: South Korea’s largest animal feed maker Nonghyup Feed Inc. (NOFI) bought about 63,000 tonnes of feed wheat from optional origins in a tender which closed on Wednesday, European traders said.
Price was around $220 a tonne c&f. There is an additional $1.25 a tonne surcharge for additional port unloading.
The wheat was sought in one consignment for arrival in South Korea around Sept. 25.
Shipment was sought between Aug. 23 and Sept. 11 if sourced from the US Pacific North West Coast, Australia or Canada, between Aug. 3 and Aug. 22, if from the US Gulf or east Europe, and between July 29 and Aug. 17 if from South America.
