Hong Kong: Hong Kong shares rallied almost one percent soon after opening Friday following a bounce on Wall Street, with energy firms resuming their upward swing on higher oil prices.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.98 percent, or 293.15 points, to 30,300.83.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.24 percent, or 7.38 points, to 3,082.41, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, added 0.47 percent, or 8.28 points, to 1,778.68.
