JAKARTA: Indonesia exported 762 tonnes of cocoa beans from Lampung province on the island of Sumatra in April, data from the local trade office showed.
Lampung had exported 203.2 tonnes of beans in the same month last year. On a monthly basis, shipments fell nearly 12 percent from March.
Lampung province is a minor producer in Indonesia, but the beans are normally high-quality fermented.
