HOUSTON: Exxon Mobil Corp was boosting production on the second-largest crude distillation unit (CDU) on Friday at its 502,500 barrel-per-day (bpd) Baton Rouge, Louisiana, refinery, one day after restarting the unit, said sources familiar with plant operations.
The 110,000 PSLA-9 CDU was shut by a small fire on a pump on May 3, the sources said. No injuries were reported due to the fire.
