HO CHI MINH CITY (Nov. 1, 2012) — The Vietnam Rubber Group will host its 2nd Annual Global Rubber Conference in Ho Chi Minh City Nov. 29-Dec. 1.
The conference will coincide with the Vietnam Rubber Association’s annual dinner, the Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG) said.
Supported by Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development and its Ministry of Industry & Trade, the Global Rubber Conference is expected to attract more than 500 attendees from 25 countries, the VRG said. Delegates will come from the natural and synthetic rubber industries and their supporting industries, it said.
The conference is designed to allow networking between rubber industry professionals from around the world, as well as present a forum to discuss a wide spectrum of commercial and R&D topics concerning the rubber industry, the group said. The program will include more than 20 speakers, as well as a visit to the Phuoc Hoa rubber plantation and processing plant on the morning of Nov. 29.
