ISTANBUL (Reuters) – Turkey is addressing financial market concerns with credible policy actions, Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Simsek said on Saturday, as Moody’s placed the country’s rating on review for a downgrade.
Turkey’s tightened and simplified monetary policy, macro prudential measures and work on strengthening the policy mix were some of these actions, Simsek said on Twitter.
