The Japanese government is planning to provide technical and cash assistances for exporting of Myanmar’s rubber raw material to the Japanese market, secretary of Myanmar Rubber Agriculture and Producers Association Khaing Myint said.
“Japan wants to export the rubber raw materials in Myanmar. But, the kinds of rubber raw materials except RSS-1 are needed quality requirements. That’s why, they observed at the rubber farms, what they can do these rubber raw products will be used in Japan as an advance and what the weak points of rubber raw materials,” he also said.
The Japanese entrepreneurs and the delegations on behalf of the Japanese government had observed at the rubber farms in Myanmar and discussed matters relating on rubber raw materials as an advance.
Currently, Japan is purchasing the rubber raw material products from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam. And then, 70 percent of Myanmar’s rubber raw material products are being purchased by the People’s Republic of China and the other kinds of rubber raw products such as RSS-1, RSS-3, RSS-5 and MSR are being exported to the abroad.
