KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) – Malaysia’s central bank governor Muhammad Ibrahim offered to resign from his post, Bloomberg reported on Monday, quoting sources familiar with the matter.
The offer came after a surprise change of government last month. It was not clear what the government’s response was, the report said.
A spokesperson for the central bank declined to comment on the report.
