TORONTO: Canada’s main stock index was higher at the open on Monday, led by gains in financials stocks as investors shrugged off G7 squabble.
At 9:30 a.m. ET (1330 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX Composite index was up 27.9 points, or 0.17 percent, at 16,230.59.
