The Malaysian rubber market closed lower today, weighed down by weaker oil prices and lack of demand, a dealer said.
At noon, the Malaysian Rubber Board official physical price for tyre-grade SMR 20 eased seven sen to 781.0 sen a kg while latex-in-bulk was 0.5 sen down to 595.0 sen a kg.
The unofficial closing price for tyre-grade SMR 20 fell 5.5 sen to 779.0 sen a kg while latex-in-bulk lost one sen to 594.5 sen a kg.– Bernama
