Spot rubber was on a slide on Thursday. RSS 4 weakened to ₹127.00 from ₹128.00 and . ₹127.50 per kg,according to traders and the Rubber Board. The market lost its initial strength as the gap between domestic and global indices widened putting further pressure on the prices. The July futures concluded at ₹126.25, August at ₹126.80 and September at ₹126.51 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
RSS 3 (spot) declined to ₹102.66 (103.42) at Bangkok; July futures improved to ₹102.82 (102.32)on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 127; RSS-5: 124.50; ISNR 20: 125; and Latex (60% drc): 84.00.
