Hong Kong: Hong Kong stocks opened in positive territory on Monday with investors awaiting the release of Chinese economic growth data.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.19 percent, or 55.52 points, to 28,580.96.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.14 percent, or 4.10 points, to 2,827.08 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, edged down 0.19 percent, or 2.97 points, to 1,601.48.
