Spot rubber continued to rule firm on Tuesday. RSS 4 improved to ₹129 (128.50) a kg, according to traders. The grade firmed up to ₹129.50 (129) according to the Rubber Board. RSS 4 firmed up at its August futures to ₹131.90 (130.32) and September to ₹131.74 (130.44) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE). RSS 3 (spot) improved to ₹104.03 (103.88) at Bangkok. July futures firmed up to ₹99.70 (99.21) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 129 (128.50); RSS-5: 127 (126.50); ISNR 20: 128.50 (128) and Latex (60% drc): 82 (82).
