SAO PAULO: Brazilian coffee sales through Aug. 7 reached 38 percent of the 2018/19 crop estimated at 60.50 million bags, consultancy Safras & Mercado said in a statement on Thursday.
At the same time in the prior season, farmers had sold 34 percent of production. The five-year average for sales in the period is 36 percent, Safras said.
