HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks ended the morning session more than two percent down on Tuesday, wiping out almost all the gains of the previous two sessions, while Shanghai was also sharply lower after a strong rally.
The Hang Seng Index sank 2.03 percent, or 530.32 points, to 25,622.83 by the break.
Shanghai’s composite index fell 1.37 percent, or 36.46 points, to 2,618.42.
