BERLIN (Reuters) – German carmakers Daimler (DE:) and Volkswagen (DE:) are prepared to fully cover the costs of diesel hardware retrofits, which would come in at 3,000 euros ($3,427.20) per vehicle, manager magazin website reported on Thursday.
It said BMW (DE:) was still not prepared to take part in the diesel hardware retrofit scheme.
