London — Turkish petrochemical and plastics producer Petkim has increased its PP, LDPE and HDPE list prices for March 1, a company source said Friday.
Petkim has increased official PP list prices by $20, taking the PP raffia list price to $1,715-$1,725/mt FCA Aliaga.
LDPE list prices increased by $20/mt or $30/mt, depending on the grade in question, with LDPE H2-8 grade rising $20 to $1,700/mt FCA Aliaga.
LDPE G03-5 was among the LDPE grades that had a $30 increase and now stands at $1,730/mt.
HDPE grades all increased by $30/mt, with the official list price for HDPE film at $1,460/mt FCA Aliaga.
PVC list prices remained unchanged, with K67-K68 grades at $1,405/mt.
According to market sources, Petkim regularly applies large discounts to its list prices.
S&P Global Platts assessed PP raffia spot prices flat on the week at $1,140/mt CFR Turkey on Wednesday, while LDPE spot prices were also assessed flat at $970/mt CFR Turkey and HDPE film spot prices were assessed up $10/mt to $1,060/mt.
