Spot rubber finished weak on Friday. RSS-4 slid to ₹126.50 (127) a kg, according to traders. The grade dropped to ₹127 (127.50) per kg as quoted by the Rubber Board. The volumes were dull. March futures weakened to ₹125.59 (125.83) on the Indian Commodity Exchange (ICEX). RSS-3 (spot) inched up to ₹121.97 (121.96) per kg at Bangkok.
March futures declined to ₹114.99 (117.33) per kg on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) : RSS-4: 126.50 (127); RSS-5: 122.50 (123); ISNR 20: 123 (123) and Latex (60% drc): 82.50 (83).
