The Malaysian rubber prices closed lower today, tracking the commodity’s price movements on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange
(TOCOM), dealers said.
A dealer said the rubber prices on TOCOM were lower following stronger yen.
At noon today, the Malaysian Rubber Board’s official physical price for tyre-grade SMR 20 gained 4.5 sen to close at 722 sen a kg while latex-in-bulk declined 1.5 sen to 532 sen a kg.
The unofficial sellers closing price for tyre-grade SMR 20 lost one sen to 719 sen a kg and latex-in-bulk fell two sen to 531 sen a kg.– Bernama
