KOTTAYAM, AUG. 5:
Spot rubber showed a mixed mood on Monday. The undercurrent appeared to be firm as certain counters finished higher amidst scattered transactions. Trading activities in the local markets were almost on a stand still following the continuous downpour all over the State.
Sheet rubber closed steady at Rs.195.00 a kg according to traders. The grade improved to Rs.195.00 (194.50) a kg both at Kottayam and Kochi as quoted by the Rubber Board.
The August futures improved to Rs.194.50 (193.46), September to Rs.184.35 (182.01), October to Rs.174.80 (173.28), November to Rs.168.50 (167.33) and December to Rs.168.35 (167.90) per kg on National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
RSS 3 (spot) slipped to Rs. 150.11 (150.42) a kg at Bangkok. The August futures weakened to ¥ 245.5 (Rs.151.67) from ¥ 249.9 per kg during the day session but then remained inactive in the night session on Tokyo Commodity Exchange.

RSS-5: 191.00 (190.00)
Ungraded: 180.00 (180.00)
ISNR 20: 177.00 (176.50)

Latex 60%: 162.00 (161.00)
