Gold prices fell in Pakistan for the second consecutive session on Wednesday, in line with an ease in the international rate. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs239,200 after a single-day fall of Rs800.
The 10-gram gold was sold at Rs205,075 after a decrease of Rs686, according to the rates shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, gold price per tola decreased Rs500 in Pakistan.
The international rate of gold declined on Wednesday. As per APGJSA, the rate was set at $2,312 per ounce (with a premium of $20) after a loss of $5 during the day.
Meanwhile, silver rates remained stable at at Rs2,620 per tola.
Last month, gold hit an all-time high of Rs252,200 per tola in the local market.
