The UK’s leading automotive servicing and repair company, Kwik Fit, is treating the Goodwood Festival of Speed audience to an array of activities across the four-day festival. From sim-racing to autograph sessions with BTCC stars, the Kwik Fit stand will have it all.
The centrepiece of the stand will be four 2024 BTCC cars, giving fans close-up access to their favourite team’s machinery. The outfits parking up on the Kwik Fit stand include Team BRISTOL STREET MOTORS, Napa Racing UK, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK and Evans Halshaw Power Maxed Racing.
You can’t have the cars without the stars, familiar faces from the BTCC grid will drop-in throughout the festival. This includes reigning and four-time champion Ash Sutton, 2022 champion Tom Ingram, race winners Dan Cammish, Dan Rowbottom, Josh Cook plus many more. Icons from past seasons, such as Jason Plato, are also set to make an appearance.
Throughout the four-day spectacle, there will always be something to see at the Kwik Fit stand. Daily Q&As, interviews, and autograph sessions will be hosted by ITV’s BTCC presenter, Louise Goodman. In addition, there will also be a live broadcast of a BTCC podcast featuring Alan Hyde on Thursday.
Back by popular demand, the Kwik Fit display will also house four racing simulators where fans can battle it out between themselves and the BTCC stars on rFactor2. To add in some competition, a daily ‘Hot Lap’ competition around Brands Hatch GP, Oulton Park, Silverstone National and Donington Park GP will give fans a chance to win two tickets to a BTCC event plus other Kwik Fit goodies.
The BTCC action won’t stop at the Kwik Fit stand, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK will be taking to the iconic Goodwood Hillclimb, showing off their 2024 challenger to the crowds.
Louise Goodman, ITV Sport and BTCC Television Presenter, said: “The BTCC fans and Festival of Speed visitors are guaranteed a great show over at the Kwik Fit stand this year. Our schedule is jam-packed with activities with our stars and cars, plus many interactive elements like the racing simulators. I’m really looking forward to catching up with everyone outside of a competitive race weekend, which should make for a really fun and relaxed environment, and of course we’re looking forward to seeing our fantastic BTCC fans there too.”
More information will follow over the coming weeks with the final Kwik Fit four-day timetable announced nearer the event.
Events and activities hosted by Kwik Fit will be available to view via the Goodwood Motorsport App during the Festival of Speed for visitors to add to their personalised timetables.
