Linglong Specialty Tire has launched the newly developed Agri Master series of tyres for agricultural tractors. The series has an optimised tread, providing better traction and improved self-cleaning abilities. In addition, the larger contact area reduces soil pressure, preventing soil compaction as much as possible.
‘We developed the new Agri Master tyres in line with the development of ever more powerful agricultural tractors that have to pull increasingly heavy machinery or trailers,’ says Jean-Paul Spijker, Director Sales and Marketing Specialty Tire Europe and responsible for the agricultural segment at Linglong. ‘In addition, tractors need to travel by road more and more, as driving distances between fields and farms increase and due to the growing use for earthmoving and construction. The new strong carcass and improved sidewalls ensure more grip and comfort for the driver under all conditions, even at higher speeds.’
To manufacture the Agri Master, Linglong developed a special new rubber compound. As a result, the tyres not only have a longer lifespan, but are also more resistant to cupping and damage, such as from driving over stubble. The Agri Master 85 is available in the sizes 380/85R28, 420/85R24, 420/85R28, 460/85R38 and 520/85R38, the Agri Master 70 in size 480/70R24, while the Agri Master 65 is available in size 650/65R42. Further sizes will be available in the near future.
